Monologue: I didn't feel like apologizing to Keiko all that much. I'd spent time with my other friends instead, and I figured I shouldn't worry about it.

But when I found her at her home, she looked bored and tired. So that's why we went down one block to a quiet fast food restaurant. The sandwiches there were maybe two steps above cafeteria quality, but I think it was worth it for the chance to help her get out of the house.

Keiko: So what's on your mind? You've been off doing your own thing again.

Yusuke: Oh, that's just me. I just figured this was another slow day with almost nothing going on.

Keiko: Please give me a little time. I've been thinking about you lately.

Yusuke: I didn't know. Thanks.

Keiko: I mean it. You've been through a lot, so I figure I can't just treat you like some kind of little brother any more.

Yusuke: Hey, I've tried to notice you as well. I don't exactly know how to say things like this, but I'm trying, right?

Monologue: Things were still pretty awkward, but I figured our relationship was working better than before. Now maybe she'd understand me, and I might even understand her.
