Kuwa: "Okay. But if she's busy, don't go annoying her."

Yukina: "See you in a moment."

Yusuke's monologue: So I walked to the phone and called Keiko's house. She answered a moment later and told me that she would make time to meet her if I could drop by in just a few minutes. I forgot to mention that I was with Kuwabara and Yukina. So I started thinking if I should allow them to come along for a possible group date, or if I just wanted some quality time with Keiko.

Kuwa: "At least you didn't drop the phone when she yelled at you."

Yusuke: "Pretty funny. Well, she has time - and if we hurry, I was thinking maybe we can all go out together. I don't know if she likes the idea, but maybe that way there won't be long pauses."

Kuwa: "It'd save cash..."

Yukina: "I think I like the idea."

Monologue: And so even though I hadn't planned it, I ended up on a date with Keiko, Kuwabara, and Yukina. We went to a fairly nice Chinese restaurant in the middle of town. I knew I was feeling a bit dazed from all this, but then Yukina suggested something out of the blue.

Yukina: The four of us get along pretty well. I wonder if we'll be able to keep up these relationships?

Kuwa: I guess it's a little different for you, since you've lived a long time. Me, I know I'm kind of dumb sometimes.

Yukina: No, not really.

Keiko: I think you're right. I have no idea what I'm going to be doing when high school is over.

Yusuke: Yeah, I might almost have to be serious.

Yukina: I think we should at least try to stay together.

Keiko: Not a bad idea. We'll have to see what might happen.

Kuwa: I ain't changin' for no one.

Yusuke: Heh. We gotta be us, right?

Monologue: From then on I tried to think about our friendships, and what difference it would make to love someone more than anyone else. It was all complex, but I figured I'd put the pieces together eventually.
